The Rudolfinum is one of the most important buildings of Czech Neo-Renaissance architecture. It is a joint work of leading Czech architects of the second half of the 19th century, architect Josef Z\u00edtek and architect Josef Schulz. The building was built at the expense of the Czech savings bank, then the German institute B\u00f6hmische Sparkasse, whose council decided to build a magnificent art stand on the 50th anniversary of the founding of this oldest financial institution in Prague. It is the first modern Prague building with a complex multi-purpose operation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Visitors to the Rudolfinum can park on the adjacent streets or in the Old Town Parking underground garage on Al\u0161ovo n\u00e1b\u0159e\u017e\u00ed, right next to the Rudolfinum building. The entrance to the garage is on Al\u0161ovo n\u00e1b\u0159e\u017e\u00ed. The garage offers 450 parking spaces, and a covered walkway leads directly from the garage into the Rudolfinum building.
