The Rudolfinum is one of the most important buildings of Czech Neo-Renaissance architecture. It is a joint work of leading Czech architects of the second half of the 19th century, architect Josef Zítek and architect Josef Schulz. The building was built at the expense of the Czech savings bank, then the German institute Böhmische Sparkasse, whose council decided to build a magnificent art stand on the 50th anniversary of the founding of this oldest financial institution in Prague. It is the first modern Prague building with a complex multi-purpose operation.

Parking

Visitors to the Rudolfinum can park on the adjacent streets or in the Old Town Parking underground garage on Alšovo nábřeží, right next to the Rudolfinum building. The entrance to the garage is on Alšovo nábřeží. The garage offers 450 parking spaces, and a covered walkway leads directly from the garage into the Rudolfinum building. The garage is open 24/7, and parking is available even without a prior reservation. An online reservation guarantees a parking space.
